Shine collaborated with the creative team at Prudential to tell the story of the company’s 144 year heritage of working with people to strengthen communities around the world. Prudential is a financial giant with a workforce of over 40,000 worldwide. With it’s early roots in providing insurance and financial independence for the working man, Prudential has been a financial force for good, making the world a better place for all.

Prudential history

Prudential Insurance was founded in 1875 by John F. Dryden in Newark, New Jersey. Originally named "The Widows and Orphans Friendly Society," it aimed to provide affordable insurance to working-class families. The company quickly grew, becoming a major player in the American insurance industry.

John F. Dryden, founder of Prudential Insurance, was an American businessman born in 1839. He established the company in 1875 to provide affordable insurance for working-class families. Dryden's vision and leadership expanded Prudential into a major insurance provider.
