Shine designed and produced ten unique animated main title logos for “Outer Banks” on Netflix. The colors, textures and imagery inside of each logo is drawn from themes and imagery from each episode. Emotional queues are used to fill the letters with colors that represent the drama that unfolds between the Pogues and the Kooks in the magical barrier islands off the coast of North Carolina, which separates the Atlantic Ocean from the mainland.

Some don’t know just how popular the show’s first season was between April and May 2020. Only two other shows have been more popular than Outer Banks this year. Few shows have managed to dominate Netflix’s Top 10 like the first season of Outer Banks did this earlier year. Between April 15 and June 4, Outer Banks spent every single day on the daily Top 10 list (that’s 51 consecutive appearances). That’s something only two other Netflix shows have ever done.
