It’s pop meets rock! Shine designed and animated the live action green-screen main title sequence for Erin & Aaron on Nickelodeon. Erin & Aaron follows the lives of two musically talented step-siblings, Erin and Aaron, who must adjust to life under one roof after their parents marry. Despite their differences and frequent sibling rivalry, they find common ground through their shared love of music. The series showcases their journey of learning to harmonize both musically and as a blended family, highlighting their quirky dynamics, heartfelt moments, and the ups and downs of being step-siblings.
Erin has a wild streak – she wears what she wants to wear, says what she wants to say, and plays what she wants to play. She’s got a tough exterior, but a seriously funny side too. When life hands Erin lemons she turns them into hilarious songs. Deep down, she’s a sensitive and caring kid who loves her dad, and her best friend Vivian. Music provides her an escape, especially now that she has a new mother, a new sister, and a new stepbrother.
Aaron’s a popstar at heart, ready to be a star for the world to see! In his eyes he’s a triple threat: he’s got talent, perfect pitch, and a really cool sneaker collection. Most importantly, he’s dedicated, hard working, and overly organized. He always starts his day with vocal warm-ups at his piano over a bowl of Lucky Charms. With all of the recent changes in his life, Aaron leans on music to help him through.
Aaron’s little sister is great at video games, sneaking candy, and using her cuteness to her advantage. She loves her brother Aaron almost as much as she loves busting his ego. Unlike most seven year olds, Natasha isn’t afraid to show anyone who’s boss. Adjusting to her new family is easy for her, as it’s the perfect opportunity to guilt her parents into buying a mini horse.
Chuck is Erin’s dad. He is a hard-working construction worker, and the person to call if you ever need to fight a grizzly bear, or unclog a toilet. Chuck and his daughter, Erin, share a special relationship, bonding through horror movies and ordering pizza up to five times a week. Sylvia, Aaron’s mom, doesn’t know much about music, but she’s always there to support Aaron and his dreams.
