NASA Earth Sciences Program
One Good Man
short film for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration
Shine partnered with agency One Good Man to create a short film for the NASA Earth Sciences program. The purpose of the film is to describe NASA’s vision for the future of earth science: by connecting different disciplines of science, a greater understanding of our planet can be achieved. The film is intended for the worldwide scientific community. It will be shown at conferences and lectures throughout the world to scientists, the public, and anyone interested in earth science. The film premiered in front of the enormous audience at the 2016 Earth Science Technology Forum in Annapolis, Maryland.
The 2016 Earth Science Technology Forum is held each June in Annapolis, Maryland. Hosted by the NASA Earth Science Technology Office, this event showcases the wide array of technology research and development related to NASA’s Earth science endeavors. Attendees can encounter the latest advances in NASA technology for Earth science observations – remote sensing instruments, platforms, components, advanced information systems, sensor web technologies, communications, automation, and modeling. ESTF2016 is also intended to promote collaboration and networking among technologists, scientists and mission planners as well as facilitate a more complete understanding of NASA technology requirements.
